What we thought was the only known photo of the town's Ronald Steamer
taken during a parade on the main street. We're not sure of the year, but we believe it
must be just prior to 1900.

We've found another one. A photo of the Ronald Steamer during a parade as
it passes by the Opera House. Judging by the car in the background, it was probably taken
around 1920.

Another tractor-trailer roll-over on Highway 11 at the south end of
town. During the 1970's this was a regular scene for firefighters. This photo received
national honours for spot news for Gravenhurst News editor Paul Archer who took the photo
from atop the overpass at the south entrance to Gravenhurst.

The original pumper at Station Three was a portable unit contained on a
trailer. It was housed in a garage prior to the building of Station Three.
